Namrata Arora
Thought leader, strategist and international education expert
Namrata founded True North Education Advisory in 2019 with the aim of providing curated and personalized education advisory services.
She has experience that spans over 20 years working for some of the best names in education. These include the Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Harvard Business School, Harvard University and the University of Chicago. Namrata has a BA in Political Science and Economics from Wellesley College, and a Masters in Education from Harvard University.
Shachi Jain
International education consultant and an ex-financial analyst
Shachi has worked in the education advisory space since 2017 with a belief that one size doesn’t fit all. As a co-founder at True North, her goal is to provide students with highly individualized advice.
She has helped students across India gain admission to premier undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the US, UK, Canada, and Singapore. She has an undergraduate degree in Management and an MSc. in Management and Economics,
London School of Economics and Political Science.

Lexi Raheja
Early High School Lead Mentor
Lexi is passionate about helping students navigate their paths to university. With a diverse background across 9 cities in 4 countries, she has gained a rich understanding of various cultures and educational systems. Prior to joining True North, she served as an Education Consultant for two years, guiding students through academic challenges, followed by two years as a school teacher in Tokyo, Japan. Most recently, she ran her own baking studio in Hong Kong for 4 years.
Lexi is Montessori-qualified in Child Development and believes in the principles of empathy, patience, and active listening skills, creating a supportive environment where students feel valued and understood.
Simrata Tikka
Program Manager
With a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Birla Institute of Management Technology, she brings over a decade of experience in various sectors, including retail and education. Simrata taught Bachelor’s-level Business Administration and Marketing courses, emphasizing engaging and interactive learning. She worked closely with students to foster the development of critical thinking skills while helping them broaden their knowledge and apply key concepts in real-world contexts. At True North, she works closely with students, guiding them through various application processes and providing advisory services.
